Ten Hag aims dig at Arne Slot: ‘People have been overly lyrical about Feyenoord’

VIA TRIBUNA:

Erik ten Hag remains keen on the Eredivisie while working at Man United. Or maybe he has an unhealthy obsession with Liverpool — it’s one of these two options when you read his latest comments.

“People have been overly lyrical about Feyenoord,” the Man United manager said, as quoted by the Mirror. “They were steady this year, but not top.

“PSV were two classes better in all areas. [They] were so much better than Feyenoord.”

Feyenoord finished second this season, seven points behind PSV. It has to be noted that Arne Slot‘s former side operates on a smaller budget.

Liverpool have already confirmed the 45-year-old as the manager for the next season. Ten Hag, meanwhile, might not face Slot at all next term as he faces a risk of getting sacked at United.
