MUTV forced into apology after interview with Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag

Erik ten Hag’s passionate praise for Manchester United’s fans led to an unexpected moment on MUTV when the Dutchman used a foul word, prompting the presenter to apologize. Celebrating United’s surprise FA Cup victory over Manchester City, thanks to goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, Ten Hag highlighted the unwavering support of the fans despite a challenging season that saw the team finish eighth in the Premier League, their worst position ever.

During his interview, Ten Hag emphasized the loyalty of the fans, especially after a heavy defeat to Crystal Palace. He remarked on their support even when the team played poorly, saying, “I remember Crystal Palace a couple of weeks ago when we played s*** and they backed us.” MUTV presenter Mark Sullivan quickly intervened to excuse the language.

Ten Hag continued to laud the fans, calling them the best in the world and expressing his gratitude for their incredible support throughout the season.
