Mauricio Pochettino unsure on Chelsea future after Todd Boehly meeting

Mauricio Pochettino remains uncertain on whether his future will continue at Chelsea, despite having met with the club’s co-owner Todd Boehly.

The Blues managed to earn a victory over Bournemouth on the final day of the campaign, securing their place in Europe next season. It marked the first time they have been able to achieve five consecutive wins in the Premier League since March 2022, ending their difficult season on a high.

Their success, however, has not been enough to put Pochettino at ease as the Argentine boss remains unsure of his future.

Speaking after Chelsea’s win, in which Moises Caicedo scored a sensational strike to put them ahead, Pochettino said: “I don’t have any idea about this [his future]. All I can tell you is on Friday night, Todd [Boehly] invited me for a dinner and it was a very nice dinner together.

“But I don’t know about the rumours about the review. My staff tomorrow are flying for their holidays. I am going to stay in London for a few more days. My phone is going to be on.”

90min understands there will be a formal meeting between Chelsea officials and Pochettino, who will have the chance to give his own feedback on the club’s operations as well as receive a review of his own performance.
