Man Utd ‘strike Jadon Sancho agreement’ as Sir Jim Ratcliffe eyes £45m boost

Manchester United are reportedly optimistic they can strike a deal with Borussia Dortmund to make Jadon Sancho’s return permanent this summer. The 23-year-old’s future at Old Trafford looks bleak as Sir Jim Ratcliffe plans to raise funds for a busy summer transfer window at the start of a new era.

Sancho returned to Dortmund in January to end a four-month banishment from first-team training at Carrington imposed by Erik ten Hag.

A row erupted after Ten Hag excluded the winger from his squad for a game at Arsenal in September and later cited his training attitude as the reason.

Sancho took to X (formerly Twitter) to dispute his manager’s explanation, effectively labelling the Dutchman a liar and accusing him of making him a scapegoat.
