Luke Littler insists he’s not the world’s best despite extending his Premier League lead

Luke Littler refused to agree that he’s the best darts player in the world despite his latest Premier League win.

The 17-year-old confirmed his spot in the play-offs on Thursday night with a 6-4 win in the final against Rob Cross on night 14.

His latest victory seems him continue his meteoric rise in darts, one that started by reaching the World Championship final in January.

Littler, despite his age, exudes calmness behind the oche and many believe that he’s the best in the business so early in his career.

However, the teenager played down the sentiment that he’s the best player in the world after his victory in Aberdeen.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he was asked: “If you say yes, it’s not arrogant, it’s not anything, do you feel like you’re the best player in the world right now?”
