Liverpool will reportedly face a £13million bill if they are to secure Feyenoord’s Arne Slot as their next manager.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Liverpool made their first approach for the Feyenoord boss on Wednesday – which was swiftly knocked back by last season’s Eridivisie champions.
According to the Daily Mail, the initial compensation package offered was said to be around £7.5m ($9m) but Feyenoord are looking for a figure in the region of £8.6m ($11m) to release Slot from his contract. The overall sum could reach over £13m ($16m), due to his desire to bring a number of his backroom staff with him to Anfield.
