How Chelsea squad feel about Enzo Maresca appointment after speaking to some of his former players

Chelsea have appointed Enzo Maresca as their new head coach, succeeding Mauricio Pochettino. Maresca, 44, has signed a five-year deal with an option for an additional year.

Despite his limited experience of managing 67 senior-level games and never having led a Premier League club, the Chelsea squad is reportedly excited about working with him.

The Daily Mail reports that players, having spoken to his former charges, are optimistic. Maresca recently managed Leicester City, guiding them to a Championship title despite some challenges, demonstrating his capability under pressure.
