Harry Kane ends drought at Bayern Munich, silencing critics

Harry Kane believes he has “plenty of years to go”, with the Bayern Munich star determined to silence those delighting in his trophy struggles.

The England captain severed career-long ties with Tottenham in the summer of 2023 after failing to get his hands on major silverware in north London. A big-money move to Germany was expected to deliver the tangible success he craves.

Bayern have, however, endured a rare wobble in pursuit of major honours, with Bayer Leverkusen landing the Bundesliga title in historic fashion. Kane and Co have also suffered domestic cup heartache, leaving the Champions League as their only route to glory.
