Getafe blasts La Liga over broken protocol amid ‘die Greenwood’ chants in Man Utd loanee’s game

Getafe have pointed a finger of blame in the direction of La Liga match officials after seeing more “die” chants aimed in Mason Greenwood’s direction.

The Manchester United-owned winger has been subjected to terrace taunts throughout a loan spell in La Liga. Opposition supporters have made a point of singling him out when the 22-year-old forward plays in games on the road.

More of the same was delivered by Alaves followers during Greenwood’s latest outing. The game was brought to a halt in the 18th minute as match officials attempted to quieten those in the stands. The abuse continued, but no further action was taken.
