Brighton eyeing appointment of “outstanding” manager who Guardiola loves

Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly eyeing an “outstanding” managerial appointment who has earned high praise from Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, according to recent updates. The Seagulls had a solid season but ended on a disappointing note, finishing 11th in the Premier League, just behind rivals Crystal Palace. It has been confirmed that Roberto De Zerbi will leave Brighton after two successful years, with chairman Tony Bloom stating that the mutual agreement allows both parties to prepare for the future. De Zerbi’s next destination is uncertain, though Chelsea and Manchester United are among the clubs interested in his services.

In their search for a new manager, Brighton initially considered Kieran McKenna, who has chosen to remain with Ipswich Town after guiding them to consecutive promotions.

Now, a surprising development has linked Brighton with a manager highly regarded by Guardiola. This potential appointment is expected to generate significant excitement among the Brighton fanbase as the club aims to build on its recent successes and plan for the upcoming season.
